Replaced the broken latch on my Igloo 50 Qt with this Standard Plastic Latch and it fit perfectly. The kit came with 1 latch, 1 single-screw button post, 3 stainless steel screws and clear assembly instructions, so install took only a few minutes. The beveled edge deflects bumps and it sits close to the cooler when unlatched, which should stop it shearing off like the old one did. It's interchangeable with current and original style latches. Feels rugged enough for regular use, though I'd still be careful not to slam the lid.
