Product Details Reviews (1)

We invoked Slayer’s — the masters of thrash metal — haunting, classic fourth studio album South of Heaven for this special-edition all-black Playmate cooler with wireless speakers. The design possesses unhinged graphics, brutally cold drinks and the ability to blast one of the world’s most influential and extreme thrash metal bands to ever exist. (And by divine invention, this KoolTunes matches the South of Heaven 16 Oz Can.)

This Slayer South of Heaven KoolTunes is exactly what I hoped for. The all-black design with the South of Heaven graphics looks great, and the wireless speakers actually sound solid for a cooler this size. Drinks stayed brutally cold through a long afternoon outside, and being able to blast thrash metal while grilling was a nice bonus. It also matches the South of Heaven 16 Oz Can, which is a fun touch. Build feels sturdy and the speakers paired easily. If you want a cooler that does double duty as a speaker, this one delivers.
