Took the Versatemp 35 Qt Wheeled Electric Cooler on a weekend road trip and it did the job. Since it runs off the 12V auxiliary power outlet, I didn't need to deal with ice at all, and the wheels made moving it from the car to the campsite easy. The warm mode is a nice bonus for keeping food hot on the way home. It cools well once plugged in, though it does take a bit of time to get down to temperature. Solid pick if you want a portable electric cooler for travel.
